Gossip -- May 2004

First off, just wanted to take the opportunity to mention that Dayton, Ohio, where Bettawreckonize is headquartered, has a shit-ton of awesome bands. Please take a minute or two to surf cyberspace and get acquainted with some of our favorites (I hope I don’t forget anyone): Yes, Collapse!, Little Billy Catfish, Wet Leather, The Motel Beds, Mike Ruetschle, Joe Anderl, Five Foot Setback, When Sparks Fly, Rune, Twelve Tribes, The Lab Partners, The Story Changes, Gun Medal Gray, The Red Affair, Revampire, The 8-Bit Revival, Shadyside, Hawthorne Heights, Captain of Industry, The Heartless Bastards, The Fire Science, Simply Waiting, Nightbeast, Guided By Voices, Thank The Knife, Etherea, Vril Dox, Monsterus, Attax Unit Youth and the list goes on and on.

Without further adieu, here is some Dayton news:
Following a brief tour with friends in Hawthorne Heights and The Red Affair, When Sparks Fly decided to part ways with vocalist/guitarist Lokie Lewis.
