Adrienne Lake

Age? Old enough to know better.
Location? The entertainment capitol of the world, the armpit of this country, the silicone infested concrete jungle of dreams….Los Angeles.
Profession? I eat, sleep and breathe music. Good for the soul, but bad for the ears and liver.
Involvement in Bettawreckonize? Super duper special L.A. correspondent. L.A. Woman bringing “Rockin’ In L.A.” to life.
Prior experience? B.S. (it WAS a lot of BS, really) in Media Arts (film, television and music) at the University of Arizona in 1998. Helped run an all-ages, non-profit venue at the time called The Downtown Performance Center (DPC) in Tucson, Ariz. until its closing. Scouting. Currently working in the music industry as well as helping indie bands with booking, promotion, etc. Reviewer of shows. Self described “music dork.”
Prior scene-related involvement, bands, zines, etc.? (See previous question) Was briefly in an embarrassing Crash Worship wannabe band in 1993. I'm currently looking to be involved in a new musical project. Did a zine with my friend Tim (not Anderl) called Beneath The Wheel, which people liked, but for some reason we only cranked out one issue.
