Adam Weissman
Nickname: A-dub
Age: 16
Profession: Student/Screenwriter (in the unlikely
event that my screenplay, The Heaven That They Were Promised,
gets bought).
Involvement in Bettawreckonize: I write film
(also known as movies to those of you who aren’t snotty
and/or nerdy) reviews.
Are you In A Band? No. But my freshman year
I did play bass in a band with some friends. We were called the
Dalinians. We played one show, Battle of the Bands, at their
high school. As soon as we finished our set, they kicked us out
of the building because we played a song about how homophobia
was wrong and I said that it was wrong to call someone a “faggot” and
we were kicked out for saying the word “faggot,” despite
the context. I made a huge scene, called them all bigots, it
rocked. But unfortunately the actual music that we played sucked,
so after that glorious one show, we never played again.
Do you write for other zines? I wish…

If you were stranded on a desert island, without food,
with the staff of Bettawreckonize, who would you eat first?: Josh
Mikutis’ butt. Not Josh, just his butt. It could feed a
whole tribe of people.
