Sweet Cobra’s new track “Brux” has debuted online over at Metal Sucks. The song is taken from the bands new album Mercy, which will land in stores this coming Tuesday, September 28th, through Black Market Activities/Metal Blade. Currently, the Chicago band has plans to play a hometown record release show on 10/8 at Beat Kitchen.

His family are supporting an organization called Grind for Life at www.grindforlife.org, which is dedicated to providing financial assistance to cancer patients in need. Matt Arluck, guitar player for Sweet Cobra, and bassist for Stabbed By Words, has passed away after a battle with cancer. Details are scarce, though we know that in recent years Arluck had several surgeries to remove tumors from his liver and spine. Our condolences go out to his friends and family. RIP.
