A new music documentary titled “Blood, Sweat & Vinyl: DIY In The 21st Century” will be making the festival rounds this year. The film, which was directed by Kenneth Thomas, will focus specifically on Hydra Head Records, Neurot Recordings and Constellation Records and their output in recent years.
Following a limited edition 12″ pressing for “Record Store Day” earlier this year, Neurot Recordings are readying an official CD reissue of Neurosis‘ Sovereign EP. The outing has been slated for a September 12 North American release and will feature a previously unreleased bonus track by the name of “Misgiven.”

Neurosis are rereleasing Souls at Zero on February 15. The reissue includes demo versions of “Souls” and “Zero,” and a live version of “Cleanse Iii” performed in London in 1996. The cover art is also redesigned. Neurot Recordings will make this available on CD and via digital download.

Tennessee-based sludge outfit Generation of Vipers, which features two members of Neurot Recordings band U.S. Christmas, have posted a new track online. The song is set to appear on their upcoming split Peacecreature with Ocoai, Dormia and Panzer. You can check out “Pure” on their MySpace page.
