DC’s Peanut Butter and Dave are currently recording an album with Devin Ocampo (of Medications, Faraquet, Smart Went Crazy, The Beauty Pill, and Mary Timony and Joe Lally’s bands) engineering and mastering.  The album will drop prior to March 2011.

Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante has apparently left the LA funk rockers for the second time. He has been replaced by his longtime solo collaborator Josh Klinghoffer, who worked on many of Frusciante’s prolific solo records, as well as recorded alongside Frusciante and Fugazi bassist Joe Lally under the name Ataxia.
