Ohio Artists Visit South By Southwest
Here is the schedule of Ohio’s 2010 showcasing bands at this year’s SXSW. I’m sure I’ve missed some, but these were the ones listed at the SXSW website:
Wednesday, March 17
Cincinnati’s Lost In Holland will be at Maggie Mae’s (323 E 6th St) at 8:00 pm for the Vapor party. The Lighthouse and the Whaler from Cleveland will be at The Tap Room at Six (311 Colorado St) at 7:30 pm. Julie Neumark from Cincinnati will be in the Victorian Room at The Driskill (604 Brazos St) at 1:00 am.
Thursday, March 18
Reflection Eternal from Cincinnati will play the Rosenberg Radio/Blacksmith/Decon Media Party at Aces Lounge (222 E 6th St) at 12:25 am. Cincinnati’s Seedy Seeds and Columbus’ Lydia Loveless will be at BD Riley’s (204 E 6th St) with the Seeds taking the stage at 7:00 pm and Lydia at 10:00 pm. Pase Rock from Cincinnati will be at the Dim Mak party at Elysium (705 Red River St.) at 11:30 pm. Columbus The Main Street Gospel and Cleveland’s Sweet Apple will be at the Tee Pee Party at Habana Calle 6 (709 E 6th St) at 8:00 pm and 1:00 am respectively. Cincinnati’s Pomegranates will play the Nicodemus Agency Party at Maggie Mae’s Gibson Room (512 Trinity St) at 9:00 pm.
Friday, March 19
Columbus’ Attack Attack will be at Cedar Door (201 Brazos St) for the Artery Foundation party at 12:30 am. Cincinnati’s Foxy Shazam will be at the Crush Management party at Dirty Dog Bar (505 E 6th St) at 12:00 am.
Saturday, March 20
Cincinnati’s D-MAUB and K-Drama will be at the DaSouth.com Presents The Life In Hip Hop show at Carver Museum’s Boyd Vance Theater (1165 Angelina St) at 8:15 and 8:30 pm. Columbus’ Mt. Carmel will be at the Load/Parts Unknown/Siltbreeze show at Club 1808 (1808 E 12th St) at 9:15 pm. Toledo’s Puffy Areolas will blay the same show at 9:00 pm.
