Recessionista Resurrection

The Recessionista is back, y’all!  I had to take a leave of absence from my beloved YouIndie to make some extra scratch and pay the bills.  Now that finances are in order, I’ll be shopping more, and shopping hard.  I mean business.

Coming soon to Target: giant cone-shaped bustiers!

Everyone knows I have a huge hard-on for designer/department store collabs, and it just keeps getting better.  Target has managed to woo me with big names like Alexander McQueen and more recently, Anna Sui.  Women’s Wear Daily has now announced that famed former Madonna stylist Jean Paul Gautier will be teaming up with the retail giant for Spring of 2010.  We don’t have deets on what the line will include, but it’s set to drop online and in stores on March 7.

The Anna Sui collection is still on the shelves there, too.  They’re just now beginning to clearance the items, but if there are any left in a few weeks, the dresses will be a steal for holiday cocktail party attire.
