Yep Roc Records rereleases The Soft Boys records

Yep Roc Records will be rereleasing the first two albums by Robyn Hitchcock’s late-’70s/early-’80s band The Soft Boys — 1979’s A Can of Bees and 1980’s classic Underwater Moonlight — will be reissued in CD and vinyl editions that come with new download-only bonus tracks. Both reissues are due out Oct. 19 on CD and 180-gram vinyl, and each will feature just the original album on the physical release, plus promo codes to download the full albums plus the all of the bonus tracks digitally.

Murder Construct make “Control” available at Myspace

Lanvin Albert Elbaz designs collection for H&M

After weeks of speculation and several teaser videos, today H&M has officially announced that their next designer collaboration collection, will designed by none other than Lanvin’s Albert Elbaz.

“Lanvin is the latest brand to collaborate with H&M, with previous collections designed by the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons and Sonia Rykiel. In a new twist, the Lanvin for H&M collection will be revealed to the world through a special film which will be launched on November 2. The film will be available for all to see online at www.hm.com. Following the film’s debut, it will be just three weeks before customers have the chance to get their hands on a covetable piece of Lanvin for H&M.”

Designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the collection will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. The collection of both womenswear and menswear will be revealed to the world on November 2, just three weeks before the clothes hit the store, making the launch of Lanvin for H&M among the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

Atmosphere releases pair of EPs, tours (2010)

Atmosphere will release a pair of EPs this September in the form of a single 12-track release on digital, CD and vinyl formats. The twin EPs, singularly titled To All My Friends, Blood Makes the Blade Holy, will be available September 7 from Atmosphere’s label home, Rhymesayers. Along with the new release, Atmosphere are about to embark on a U.S. tour, during which they will be selling his new EP. All his upcoming dates are here. The EP tracklist is below.
